Best Interstellar Science Fiction Book Series

Interstellar science fiction books are some of the best and purest SF reads available. After all, interstellar space travel and exploration is the hallmark of the original science fiction books. And with a dash of aliens and intergalactic wars, you now have a really good sci-fi read! But the sci-fi book genre is very prolific, and it is easy to let great books fall through the cracks. So here is the best intergalactic sci-fi novel in recent years:

Constitution: Book 1 of the Legacy Fleet

The year is 2650 and the earth has rebuilt and expanded its space forces around the solar system. We are waiting for them to return. The alien fleet that came 75 years ago. And almost wiped earth off the solar map.

100’s of millions were killed be the invaders and our fleet was destroyed. We were on the brink of extinction. Then the aliens just left. And didn’t return. We vowed to not let this happen again.

We started to build our defenses. Our fleet. Our plan to protect humanity and earth from the unknown invaders.

We feel confident. our defenses are good and the fleet is a marvel of human technology and demonstrates what mankind can accomplish when working together, towards a common existential threat.

Then they show up one day and their alien tech has advanced far beyond what any human could have imagined.

It is a bloodbath. We didn’t even have a chance. Never did. The fleet is gone. The defensive measures bypassed and wiped out. Only one vessel has managed to make it: The ISS Constitution. The oldest and least sophisticated ship in the once marvelous fleet.

And it is the only thing standing between the alien invaders and a defenseless earth.

The odds are impossible but the crew of this ship must find a way to win. Otherwise we all lose.

This is a great sci fi novel that exemplifies interstellar travel and the intrigue of a possible intergalactic war with an alien race. The tech is interesting and the plot is fun.

What else can you ask for? If you like this first book, then the rest of the series is sure to excite.
